These images capture my experience using the Snow app on my phone. Snow is a camera app that lets users apply filters, virtual makeup, and adjust facial features. I experimented with different filters and the bunny ear sticker to compare how I look with and without them. As shown, the version with the bunny filter (far right) has a subtly brighter complexion, slightly enlarged eyes, and a sharper chin compared to the unfiltered image (third photo).

I aim to highlight how the app reflects Korean beauty standards, where it originated—emphasizing brighter skin, larger eyes, smaller facial proportions, and a cuter, more feminine appearance. Although the changes are subtle, they can significantly alter one’s overall look.

I also included a mirror image with just the bunny sticker and no filters to explore a question: without the enhancements, would I still want to post that selfie?
